Roots pumps
The volumetric roots pumps of Bora - BA series are fitted with a pair of three lobe pattern rotors of identical and symmetrical design. One significant advantage of this design and is lower gas transfer within the blower.
Furthermore shaft sealing is enhanced by the use of a dynamic vacuum seal preventing any leakage.
These pumps are used in combination with a primary (backing) pump for increasing flow rate and reducing ultimate pressures in a pumping system.
The most common applications are: pharmaceutical sector, vacuum metal treatment, electrical transformer oil outgassing, food packaging.
